Beam™ Satellite Broadband
This is a two-way 'always-on' high-speed Internet service available throughout Europe. With this service your office is connected to the Internet via satellite without the need to be tied to land-based cable or telephone networks.

Net-Work Internet have selected Beam Solutions as principle satellite broadband partner. With this arrangement we are able to deliver complete Satellite Broadband solutions to customers throughout the UK. The current standard Beam™ product range summary is as follows:

The enterprise product is approximately 36 times faster than a 56K and 16 times faster than a 128kb/s ISDN terminal.

All our Satellite solutions are provided with at least one single IP address. We currently allocate 5 statically assigned IP addresses for enterprise Satellite Broadband customers if requested.

Satellite Technology
We will mount an elliptical satellite dish on or near your property. The dish simply needs an unobstructed view of the southern sky. Two cables connect your dish to your PC via a satellite modem inside your property. All enterprise solutions are presented as a standard RJ45 ethernet connection that simply connects to your firewall, LAN hub or switch.

The satellites are in orbit at 22,300 miles (35,800 km) above the equator and communicate directly with the earth-based hub, which in turn has a direct connection to the Internet

Satellite Broadband Future
We plan to offer flexible solutions in the near future with scalable options with upto a feasible 30mb/s inbound and 512kb/s upload rates into any location where leased lines are not practical or financially viable.
